Little League Dawgs Named Themselves After Actual Stubborn Dog

9 and 10 year-old Ahwatukee Little Leaguers were plagued by a golden retriever that just wouldn't go away.

Coach: "We couldn't get that dog off the field. The kids were running around, trying to chase it away."

Paper: The dog returned now and then to watch practice, eventually endearing itself to the players. They learned the dog's name, Bobby, and soon nicknamed themselves the Bobby Dawgs.

The Bobby Dawgs are now 20-1.

Theme song? "Who Let the Dawgs Out," of course!
