I just did a story on Tasers for my local sheriff's office (sixth-highest per capita crime rate in Florida -- w00t). Tasers have just about done away with injuries to deputies and suspects when a suspect becomes unruly, and they have no residual effects. It's the perfect law enforcement weapon.
