Claim: San Diego Sports Fans Are Smartest in the World
Not a typo: he said San Diego.
Shanahan: "When our teams disappoint us, we move on to the next sport and the next season. Or we go for a run or a swim, play some tennis or golf or just enjoy the climate."
More: "We don't burn buildings. We don't overturn police cars."
Did he just say "enjoy the climate"???

yes if Ohio State loses to Texas in Sept. I'll probably go enjoy the climate too....right before I jump off a ledge.
Sounds like they just accept losing better than most. I don't know if that necessarily make you smarter.
How the Hell do you "Go for a Run or a Swim" when you're Drunk off your ass, and pissed off at civilization as a whole, when your team takes a dive ? Of course, no team from San Diego has ever won a world championship in anything...
