Rugby fan explains why he cut off his own testicles after win

Geoffrey Huish, 31, didn't think his team had a chance: "It wasn't a bet, but I said I'd cut my balls off if we won."

After win, "I started hacking away at my tackle."

Newspaper: "After performing the deed, Mr Huish put his severed anatomy in a bag and took them to his local social club to show fellow fans."

Good point. Saw this story several places. The headlines were all contradictory: Man explains why he cut off his tackle, and Man at a loss to explain why he cut off his tackle!

The point is, he's making a sincere effort to talk candidly about why he cut off his tackle. But I think there are limits to how sensible anyone can be about cutting their nuts off with wire clippers and no anaesthesia....
