UA Professor: Stop "Rammer Jammer" cheer now

"This kind of vulgar, crude and unsportsmanlike conduct is beneath the dignity of this institution and reflects in no way its heritage or its finest traditions."

He has a point.

That's what I keep saying...!

SERIOUSLY. As I sat in the newsroom with my headphones on, listening to the MTSU game, I could've sworn my heart skipped a beat when I heard "Rammer Jammer" start in the crowd. It's been SO LONG since I've heard that dadgum cheer in person, and I MISS IT.

Two solutions:
1. Bring Rammer Jammer back to pregame! (I don't think that's happening...)
2. WIN MORE! (I like that one perhaps even better than the first...)

Here's to beating Arkansas on Saturday!! Give 'em HELL Alabama!

I hum it around the house all the time, the sounds of the tuba's getting it started sends chills through the body......

Warren thanks for the visit to Kansas City, and the book is AWESOME.....

Give em hell Alabama

I Was sitting at the 25 yard line 10 rows back in Columbia SC next to BAMA section when 2 minutes left i heard for the first time "Hey Cocks! We just beat the hell out of you!
I loved it! Even the long time SC season ticket holders behind me got a kick out of it! As soon as i got home i searched for the words online and have been singing it through the last 2 wins!. Roll Tide! We'll see you at homecoming.
