I stopped by the Red Friday Tailgate Challenge this morning here in KC -- now the Red Cross Friday Tailgate Challenge -- to see how things were going for this evening's signing, and it's definitely going to be interesting. By interesting, I mean it will be a book signing attended by a bunch of guys in red wigs and face paint as well as a guy dressed up as a (very mean looking) dog. Judging from the number of grills there, it's also probably a very bad place to be a cow. If you're in KC, stop by at 5:30pm today at 7000 Squib, which should easy to find: just look for the 3 story-tall inflated gorilla. (Seriously.) Hope to see you there.

Thanks to everybody in Austin; especially the folks at Book People, Saint Arnold's and Bert's BBQ. That was a blast.
