"Hey Warren - the Tide's having a great season. Why aren't you blogging about it?'"
Right - good question. I've actually been under water finishing my next book, which will be called "Outcasts United: a refugee team, an American town." It's about a group of young refugees from thirteen countries -- mostly in Africa and the Middle East -- trying to make new lives in their unlikely hometown, Clarkston, Georgia. It comes out in April and will be available at all the usual places. Check it out.
Here's what I think will be the cover.

A perfect regular season without any new posts from you and then BAM! 2 days before the SECCG you post something?
Couldn't you have waited another week? Or another month?
Guess I know who to blame if we... you know.
Just kidding.
Looking forward to the new book.
I was kinda getting superstitious about your page. You hadn't updated it during the season (I check it at least once a week, NOT SAD AT ALL!). Well the problem with this update is that we've won all the previous games when you didn't update so now that this has changed one is left to wonder what may happen in Atlanta now. You can trust that I will apply my lucky deodorant this Saturday morning, it has to count for something, right?
Wow -- ok two posts calling me out on a violation of superstition protocol. I have to say that this year as I became confident, I tested certain superstitions by gently (but not irrevocably) flouting them -- and we're still undefeated. However, if the feeling is that I should delete this post until after the game, I will. Let me know and I'll abide.
Congrats Warren!
Football and futbol are my two favorite sports. Can't wait to read it and review it for Roll Bama Roll.
