It would be weird, but I could dig it.

Help! The link isn't working. What do you think? I'm not happy at all. Thanks--

I have GOT to stop listening to all the commentators and reading all the columns and (worse still) the Internet forums. Because not only am I getting to the point where I actually feel like it could MAYBE happen ...

I'm also getting to the point where I kind of WANT it to happen.

(Plus a houndstooth visor would be so cute. The CW alumni should've put 'em into production last week when we started talking about 'em.)

Could get used to it overnight.

Not going to happen! He wants to be the best old ball coach anybody ever had (Duke/Fla/SC). You already had the Bear.

Wow...just wow...I don't know what to say...I'm a Bama fan who has been on suicide watch ever since this rumor was mentioned. I'm a little disappointed in ya Warren. After reading your book, I would have suspected that you were more of a "loyal bama man" type fan. Spurrier represents all the things that are not Alabama...style over substance, offense over defense, football over academics, etc etc etc

I'll leave you with my favorite Ol' Ball Coach joke...why does he wear the visor? To hide the circumcision scars!

NOOOOOOO......not the devil in the visor!!!! Shula was a class act and a good coach (remember last year? 10-2???) and I am sad to see him go. But please people....Steve Superior???

Fear the visor!!!!!

We are taking a beating in the national media, but a "What took you so long!" in the state media. I am curious to see who is next. I really think Mal Moore should have been first, THEN Shula.

It was the right time for Shula to go. He at least restored a little bit of integrity to the program after all the scandals, and it's not easy to find a top coach in May, so we didn't have much choice when he was hired. But now, the probation is ending, and it's time for a big time coach to restore glory to the Capstone.

I have a feeling Tom Coughlin will be available in a few weeks....The one thing he has done with the Giants is beat the rivals, Philly, Dallas, Washington.
